It seems like yesterday when my son was born and I was drowning in endless nights and days, when I was exhausted and awake during the nights. It’s been more than 6 years since then. But it was during those nights (they were a lot because my son wasn’t a good sleeper) that I had the idea of doing a social experiment. I opened an Instagram account where I curated the best kids party decorations around that social network. I only used hashtags as a means to attract visitors. To my surprise, this account grew organically to have more than 40.000 followers.
With the passing years, I became less consistent in sharing content. I felt I didn’t have a clear purpose nor a clear path. I was demotivated.
Fast forward to last year, I decided to expand and create a blog to share only curated content. Still, I wasn’t convinced at all.
After many thoughts, I finally found a purpose, a path to follow and that is why today this is a new beginning. Instead of curating the content, I will be creating most of the content and sharing it with you. I will also curate some content, because there are many many amazing people that have wonderful ideas that inspire me and I am sure they will inspire you too.
Since my son was born in 2013 I have developed the passion for everything around party decorations. I also had a daughter in 2018 that has made this passion become bigger. In 2015 I created an Etsy shop where I sold printable party invitations. Later, in 2017, I also opened a side hustle where I made printed party invitations and decorations for people in my town. As you can see, there were many things, but each was an individual project. It became difficult to handle all of them at the same time. With this blog, the purpose is to unite every idea and share it with you. A place where you can find ideas that can be easily made, resources and inspiration.
I hope you like this new approach and all feedback and suggestions are well received.
A new candle has been lighted to start the unification of different projects into one.
Thanks for reading.
With love,
Carolina
