Pink Sunshine Birthday Party

Every time I close my eyes and think of sunshine, immediately a smile comes to my face. Only this time I did not have to close them but rather open them really wide to see the amazing decoration brought to life at this breathtaking pink sunshine birthday party.

And what a better combination for little Emily’s first year bash than a variety of shades of pink. Pink balloons and ornaments all over the place perfectly matching the yellow of the bright sunshine coming not only from the little suns masterfully placed all around the room but also from the eyes of all our petit guests.

However, what caused the most impact, in my humble opinion, is something that most of the times goes unnoticed. I am talking about how geometry plays a huge role in the decoration of this incredible pink sunshine birthday party. Yes, geometry. It is just awesome to see how the variety of geometrical figures and shapes blend magically with all the colors and flavors along the main table. Rectangles, squares, circles, stars, clouds, hearts, and many more. But definitely what I liked the most were the wooden hexagons on each side of the table, like two impressive towers protecting everything around.

What to say about the flowers? They deserve a special mention, no doubt about it. The mixture of white roses and pink carnations provide an exquisite ambiance that soothes your soul. Makes you want to close your eyes and smell them until you cannot hold your breath any more. A sense of calm and relaxation that brings peace to your mind.

Let’s talk about the cake. Sorry, I meant to say cakes. Very clever to have two cakes to cater a big audience of hungry and excited guests. Parents, uncles, cousins, nannies, babies, toddlers, boys, and girls, all waiting to have a piece of these delicious pastries. It is a shame they are going to be sliced because they look really adorable. Hopefully someone gets to keep the toppers.
